Very nice. I think they build these right up the road from me in Chattanooga right? One question now though I wonder what "certified by Warrior" means. That's an odd thing to say, are these built by someone else now?
Most times the certification comes from used Warriors traded in or demo Warriors that are gone through and put the newest electronics he offers and everything is adjusted and setup as new. You can save alot of money over the new Build costs of these basses. 4 of mine have been Certified Demo's and have been like brand new basses. Great value for the money.

Right, but it doesn't make sense to have it on the lower strings if you're only going to have it on some one side. This is because the break angle over the bass-side saddles will naturally be sharper, due to the saddles being closer to the strings' entry-point and (probably) also being a bit higher (depending on your setup preferences). Because of those two factors, the natural break angle with a top-load bridge is shallower on the treble-side strings - which creates less downward pressure - so it would make more sense to have string-thru on THAT side.
I know many people think stringing through the body is pointless, but it does technically create a bit more downward pressure on the saddles. Whether this improves tone or playability is debatable, but I personally have had issues with saddles wobbling down when I plucked near the bridge. That problem went away when I started stringing through the body, so I've concluded that string-thru creates a generally more solid coupling of the bridge's components.
Also, this method of stringing through the body involves the strings travelling through slightly more body wood than the usual system of going straight down through the body. This means that the string's winding taper at the headstock end would be brought closer to the bridge, which could potentially mean that the string tapers BEFORE it reaches the nut. That would effectively lower the string at the nut, which isn't ideal for a good setup, and might also cause string rattle at the nut due to reduced surface contact. So all in all, not a very good system IMO :/

Strange. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the way the ferrules are set up. One looks like a washer jammed into a somewhat questionable cutout. Also, while it appears to be a tapered string, the taper is sitting behind the saddle.

Is this from first hand experience or are you just slamming them on hearsay? My dealing with this company has been nothing but the best. Matter of fact I'm doing a dream build right now and the owner offered to send me his personal bass to use while it's being built.

he is probably basing it off some of the internet searches and threads here. i honestly wish you luck in getting what you actually ordered as opposed to what the builder or his god wants. i must say his basses are pretty gorgeous.
From first hand experience being on their website, from reading countless things online (and not just talkbass), from watching videos on youtube, etc.

I don't need to play any to say the company has a sleazy vibe. I didn't comment on the basses themselves. I have no interest in them.
