Ok, thanks for that. I thought I read somewhere that it was called that, I thought that meant part of it moved but the base would still be fixed to the net. On another note, I keep forgetting to ask about the strap locks. All I have are 2 wholes where something, I'm assuming a the peg that sticks to the strap, is supposed to go in there. The person I got it from is nice enough to look for me, but should they not be able to find it, is there an alternative to this? I play sitting down but its still a pain in the butt to keep the bass from sliding.

You've done a good job polishing, really brought out the grain in that bubinga! Gorgeous!

The saddles lock, but they can just stay down with string tension. They are super adjustable in all directions, up/down/right/left. When you get the string height right then you lock them (little hole in front of the saddles).

There are some set-up videos on the warwick website. I suggest you go watch them before you make any changes.

If they can't find the strap lock pieces, you can either order warwick parts, but you can buy any strap lock and change them. Dunlop and Schaller do good ones. You can buy these from any music store.

They may be Dunlop recessed strap locks. You can get them from bestbassgear.com and try the posts out. If they fit, great. If not, just put the Dunlops in there. Standard strap pegs won't work without plugging the big holes from the recessed units that are in there now.
