Warwick or Fender Jazz?

I would look for a used 90s Warwick with a wenge neck. But in any case, I prefer the very flat fingerboards on Warwicks to the very arched fingerboards on pretty much all Fenders... and that alone keeps me from ever getting another fender

overall Id say warwick...... however if you replace the "fender jazz" with a jazz bass from sadowsky or don grosh id have to change my answer.
On the Warwick side I've owned a Corvette 5-string, a Bleached Blonde thumb 4-string, and a 5-string Rockbass Fortress. On the Fender Jazz side I've owned a '78 Jazz and a Squier Classic Vibe 60's Jazz. When I'm ready to buy another bass, it will likely be a Fender Jazz (I've really wanted a Reggie Hamilton signature model). I'm done with Warwick - they just didn't do it for me.
Go get the Fender. Don't question or overthink it, just get it. Since there was no poll and I was the first one to actually tell you what you want, you should listen to me.
Get both!
Maybe you should get a Warwick and an SX Jazz Bass, so in that case if you like the sound and feel of the Jazz Bass you can then upgrade to a MIA Fender (even though is very possible that you fell in love with the SX as most of us do)

And Warwick is the beast that devours that meat & potatoes. Be a real man and get a Warwick, that is, if you can handle how heavy it is, and that goes for the sound too.
But really, just get whatever feels and sounds good to you, I love my Warwick, the growl is to die for.
I own a very nice fretless Warwick Corvette. For me, it is the best fretless. Period. And especially considering that these can be had for not alot of money its a no brainer.
