It's a Streamer LX, there's a bunch of pics and notes on it on their website. It appears to be a custom shop one off finish and treatment, and not a 'new line' as it were. If I had to guess I would imagine it's in the same ballpark as a Fodera Standard price wise as well (if not more expensive that the Standard).
Ya, real original, just another in the long line of reasons to never buy a Warwick...

The Corvette, the FNA, the Fortress, the Thumb (as mentioned), the Dolphin. Only company using bell brass frets. Only company (possibly first) using an adjustable nut. Pickups mounted on springs instead of foam. One of the first (if not the first) to use Bubinga and Wenge in necks and fretboards. They offered tube hybrid amps back in the 90's. Not to mention the entire Hellborg line.... This is a very innovative company. I, too, agree that the yin yang thumb looks as good or better than the Fodera. I think the price increase in recent years is the only draw back to Warwick.

Adjustable nuts came from Alembic, I have no idea where spring mounted pickups came from but I do know they were around before Warwick, tube hybrid amps came from SWR, so yes this yin yang is just another in a long line of Warwick "innovations."

Well yeah, but it appears there is a "long line" of reasons not to buy, one apparently being continued unoriginality. I was just curious as to what all they've done.
I had no idea Fodera invented the yin yang.
Warwick's adjustable nut, with the exception of the latest, is a completely different design than Alembics. That is like saying that any jazz shape pickup is a rip off of a fender (regardless of the wind or coil configuration). In fact, Warwick's original adjust a nut, with the individual string adjustment, is very innovative (I think more so than Alembic's). Tube hybrid amps have been around since the 60's in some form or another, so SWR is not an innovator either in that regard. I just know Warwick offered the design before it was the norm.
Music Man had a tube hybrid before SWR. Solid state pre tube power.
The finish is a custom shop, probably a customer's request. I don't think they are saying they invented it, just that they can do it. They have plenty of other finishes that no one else is offering, too.
