Hello,
I picked up one of these on Ebay and they are very very nice for a low-priced fretless. It is unlined so be careful. I've been using a 5-string fretless (another cheapie - SX - of which I changed the pickups and had it professionally set up) with fretlines so the transition to unlined has not been that traumatic.
I'm a little partial to Washburn as I have been using the Taurus T25 (fretted) and absolutely love it.
Anway, the bass:
Nice feel, nice balance, nice straight neck.
Bridge pickup a bit thin. Bolt on neck (not through).
I had the bass (for which I paid $99.00) professionally set up and replaced the bridge pickup. A couple of tweaks and "voila" - a great sounding fretless.
It's got great tone and great action. For the record I use Fender Nylon Tapewound strings. So if you really want to get adventurous with a fretless, try it. With minimum investment for modifications, it easily compares to any $800.00 fretless that's out there today.
However, I would suggest at the beginning you may want to try a fretless that has fretlines....they act like training wheels.
