WawaWHUT? This is one confusing preamp!

Being a network geek, I understandeth not, for I begin counting at 0. Shall I stopeth at two, for three beith the fourth number and two beith the third.

0000 0000, 0000 0001, 0000 0010, 0000 0011 (KABANGETH!)

I thinketh stopeth at 2.
Yes, this is a very old quote... it comes from the days of Pascal.

Stepping in on this thread. Just played the Namm show with this preamp, which softens your sound like this type of tube does. It also works a bit like a limiter on notes that have too much volume. My wife's NS design 6 string cello sounds incredible through it, finally gets that bluesy tone she's been looking for. It would be great for the rest of the world, as there only is a US version available. And of course, if you can make a better one just DO IT.

Damn this forum,.. I saw this thread pop up in new posts.
I read page 1.
I jumped to the last page (16) and read that.
And now, who knows how much time later, I've read the entire thread backwards from last page to first, not ever expecting to continue, but unable to stop til I was back to page 1.
Why?
I've learned nothing, as apparently others here have failed to do also, a chunk of my life is now past I'll never get back....but I was amused.... so I have that.

Now go read this one:

Big upgrade in store for meee

Did you not learn you have to use a specific bass and strings for it to work?
I thought that point was made.

:banghead:

I don't know how I missed that!!
After reading thru the entire thread a few more times, and missing an entire nights sleep, I now understand.
I also finally grasped that if I'm not willing to change my gear, it may not be the preamp for me...but c'mon, who'd be so stubborn in the pursuit of ultimate tonefulness.

Thank you for pointing out my severe oversight.

Haha!
Nice try... 39 pages?!? I read a few pages that already went in circles 5 times... not wasting an entire day!

You don't love us enough then.

Although this thread does the job in less than half that page count. Because we're making a quality TB product here.

Anyone visit these people at NAMM? My NAMMspies™ mentioned that they were there. They still requiring specific strings/basses to use their "preamp"? They still selling these then considering owners 'endorsers'?

At least the entertainment factor matched the price you paid, right?
