I believe that the condensers are the difference in the circuit from the Bogen product. Mixture of the old with the new instead of discarding all of the old and ramming the new down the throats of the general public with no regard for the consequences? Excuse me while I find my soapbox for another round on this thread, which has turned into a big charade!

I think it's awfully weird...there was another builder out there that had a disclaimer that said no warranty would be honored if the buyer used anything other than...D'Addario XL Nickels. This was a few...maybe 5 or more years ago. It was printed in Bass Player. I want to say Allessandro, but I'm not sure.

I'm really curious who that builder was now...

So.......
If I'm understanding this patent stuff, I can wipe my deep fryer with a paper towel, shove the oily paper into my Shuttlemax and the government will issue me a patent for the circuit? Or do I need to take a really old circuit and add even older, obsolete, parts to it to get a patent?

I'm patenting this thread, after replacing one of someone else's posts in it with an older one from another thread. It will be sold as a new bread entitled: How not to market your product.

Then I will post on it when you've bought it with enigmatic mildly insulting cryptic utterances, including attacks on the only person that possibly lent it some legitimacy by giving it a postitive review.

I'm starting to count my money already.

Years ago they used polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's) in capacitors and big transformers. NOS paper in oil capacitors are still available. They aren't good for you if they leak or explode. Maybe that's why some people don't like amps with printed circuit boards, also called PCB's, in them.

The current production paper in oil capacitors use something else and are safe. Unless your better half finds out how much you spent on them. Then you're not safe. So either way, maybe they are best avoided.

Those oil based posts must be those mythical posts synthesized out of the venom from 1000 ancient egyptian asps my cousin told me about. He read on the internet they give you "tone for days." He met Geddy Lee once so I believe everything he tells me.
