Hey, after watching this, I've decided I just can't live without one of these things.

That's not something I hear often.Ironically, I think I prefer the Roland.

Then again, I use D'addario Prosteels rather than nickle wounds.![]()
Although, I can save you the bucks and send you an old ratty blanket to wrap around the Roland for the same effect as that 'tube preamp'.
The blanket doesn't "bi-amp" though.
Do I have to change my right hand technique to some weird strummy slap style to achieve such epic tone or is just a change to nickle-wounds enough?

I'm tempted to drop $15 on the guy's "How To" CD to see if it shines any light on his preamp...umm...distortion box...umm...crossover...umm...EQ...umm...whatever it is.I wonder if there is something else going on that we are missing?
