We are officially awesome. Enjoy.

WAY HUGE PORK LOIN!

MUCH love from me.
That overdrive is the only pedal that's been on every single board setup I've created since I bought the pedal. And it's always on when I'm using filters.

I'd like a number, but eh, I've been a way huge fan of Way Huge for a long time.

I'm also very interested to check out the Green Rhino one of these days, but I'm afraid to try it, because it would probably fill about the same niche as my Pork Loin and I don't want to lose the Pork Loin OR try to squeeze another pedal on my board...same reason I'm afraid to try the Fender Sublime.....

Yeah, I talk a good game..... but I bought a Green Rhino anyway..... got a good deal in the classifieds here and couldn't resist..... We'll see where it fits in.....

How are people using their Pork Loins? I find having it on after my BDDI with the clean blend all the way up and 12 o'clock on the over-drive knob adds this cool thickness to my sound, though much more over-drive and I start to get lost in the mix a little (though sounds phenomenal solo)? Usually have my tone knob at about 1 o'clock.

I really want to work out how to keep that dirty, warm sound but still cut through!

Try playing with the internal controls or try changing the volume one your amp. It may be that you're competing with another Way Huge. IMO, I dont think there can be a winner in that situation.

I have both as well and do the same thing. For one band I'm in the Sansamp is my "tone generator" and I'll use the Pork Loin for some extra noise. Absolutely love the versatility of it.

So yes, I'd love a number.

Can't wait for my Pork Loin to arrive....thanks fellow TB'r BlastJV... I currently use my BDDI but have been looking for a dedicated overdrive/dirt pedal for a while...a long while. Reading all the great posts here on TB, reviews on the web and listening/trying different pedals. And, I think I've found THE ONE. Can't wait to give it a test drive. I'm all in with this Way Huge club!

Tried a Pork Loin, it was too dark and the fuzz too smooth. Tried a Green Rhino--love it. It's my high-mids overdrive now. (a Gov'nr II is my low mids overdrive, each work best with certain pedals after)
Tried a Pickle in the store and have no idea what people are talking about because I couldn't mess with the internals. A Flying Tomato is my only non-blended fuzz. Haven't liked any muff like fuzz...

Like I said upthread, that combination is fantastic. I'm a huge fan.

I was pretty torn up about which to sell. I ended up keeping the Rhino and selling the Porker to cm3ohana. The darkness and smoothness of the WHPL what I liked about it, but I found that with a bit of tweaking I could get close enough with the Rhino for what I wanted (rare times I might want a vintagy tube overdrive tone), but also gets more aggressive and grindy than the WHPL, so I kept that. Really didn't want to sell either, but I never keep more than I need (or actually use).

I hear ya, blastJV. I've bought and sold quite a few pedals over the past couple of years trying to keep it to the must haves instead of the "mayble I'll use it" mindset. I'm hoping that the BDDI/PL combo will be as great as Lowest End says it is. But, quite honestly, I'm looking for the subtle, smooth overdrive and I think the PL's got it. I'm ready for my # please.....
