Way Huge Thread(could be a club...)

Tried a Pork Loin, it was too dark and the fuzz too smooth. Tried a Green Rhino--love it. It's my high-mids overdrive now. (a Gov'nr II is my low mids overdrive, each work best with certain pedals after)
Tried a Pickle in the store and have no idea what people are talking about because I couldn't mess with the internals. A Flying Tomato is my only non-blended fuzz. Haven't liked any muff like fuzz...

You have to open up the housing unit. There are 2 dials on the inside.

the members list is on page 3

Due to carelessness/kindness cm3ohana received an official number early but all others without Way Huge pedals will be flagged as Honorary members and will receive unofficial numbers* until they get their pedal(s).

Unofficial numbers are subject to change upon confirmation.

Thanks, Danni. I'm official! Got the pedal today and have been playing with it and lovin' it. Awesome. Definitely a keeper and one I'm proud to add to my pedal board. Already had a spot waiting for it.

In the last year or two, I've become a fuzz freak. I can't get enough. I had the SFT and Ram's Head, but neither lived up to their expectations (for me). It's probably because I only have active basses right now. Then I bought the AGRO and everything changed. I then added the Rat Tail and the Pickle Pie B... but I need MORE.

So now I have a few questions for you Huge members.

Which pedal do you prefer: Green Rhino or Swollen Pickle? A lot of you seem to have the Swollen Pickle, but YouTube videos make that Green Rhino look pretty tempting.

How do those two pedals hold up against say, the SFT? How are they with active basses? What about basses with high output levels (i.e. Spectors with HZ pickups)?

Have any of you compared them with an AGRO? A Rat (or clone)? Other fuzzes?

I sincerely appreciate all answers/statements any of you can give. I would love to add one of these pedals to my board. Good fuzz pedals aren't sold around here (you'd swear I lived in the woods), so I can only rely on testimonials and YouTube videos. :(

First of all, you said "Huge members" huhuhuhuh....... ;)

The Rhino and the Swollen Pickle are VERY different (though they're both green and both 'dirty up' your sound). The Rhino is a tube screamer based overdrive with more control of the mids and lows. It's great. The Swollen Pickle is a CRAZY fuzz pedal. Also great, but not very similar.

There are some good youtube videos of both

I used to have a Green Rhino and a Swollen Pickle. Really bummed about getting rid of the pickle. I will get another one eventually not sure when though I am pretty happy with my fuzzes. Might be one of those purchases just because.
