Don’t give up. Even if you don’t make this build off we still want to see the process and results.
The bonus is that there will likely be a summer build off again, so you can work on it slowly and then re-enter it in the SBO and take the win when the entire Fender subforum... oh... uh... sorry, I meant Basses subforum comes and votes.
I was thinking of making a modular plate for my SBO 2022 with these mods, just as a proof of concept and for fun. It would save me having to build the parts bass part of things. That SBO will get some attention sometime this year, I'll going to re-contour the back
That's well deserved. I was hesitant to even enter, but I thought my overtime schedule would clear out after the holidays (December). It hasn't, and as of today I've clocked 147 hours of overtime since Jan 1.
