Today will be a jig/template making day. My current router planer setup isn't equiped for something as long as a neck blank. Yeah yeah, I know, I had 5 months to get that done.
Also, I was staring out the window, at the side of the front porch deck and just realized that every single piece of wood I look at now, I judge the grain pattern in terms of whether or not it would make a good guitar neck or body.

LOL, I did the same at the hardware yesterday. I've bought a neck for my first build and need the body.
I know one thing for sure,....I'm sitting here staring at a wall that's coming down, to turn a bedroom into a small dining room and open it up to the kitchen,.... And I know that all the studs in there are from 1930 and are heavy, dense, old growth conifer that's hard as a rock.

I make them wear plastic bags over their heads while I work. They sleep through the whole thing.

Don't forget the duct tape. Can't risk mesothelioma from the odd asbestos particle getting in. Safe work practices and all.

I have a special mask designed for them. It's construction and materials are proprietary and a well guarded secret that I can't disclose to the public for legal reasons.
Just so the politician mask is nonpermeable to gasses and liquids and seals quite well.
