Well, I got the planer all rigged up to straighten my lams. They're somewhere in the ballpark of 3/32 or so out of true. I should have between 13/16 and 7/8 thickness left after planing.
I need to build a better setup with a height adjustable deck for the router. This was thrown together quickly just to do a few specific tasks on the last project, but I need a full time rig for doing everything from fingerboards to necks to full body thicknesses.
Hopefully this doesn't curl up any more after I shave it down.
