We did it.

My girlfriend and I have been going out for almost 6 years now, and I still haven't chased her off. So, as of Nov 1, 2007, at 4pm, we are now husband and wife! :hyper:

We just got back from our honeymoon a couple days ago, did a 5-day cruise to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. Had a blast, except when she was seasick two nights (really rough seas!). So it looks like my GAS has been cured, for now...:eyebrow:

Congratulations!!!

Progresso...you were on my old stompin' grounds, there! I grew up in Weslaco, and used to ride my bike down through Progresso and across the bridge to NP. Did y'all go eat at Arturo's?

Actually, we ate at Le Saint Bonnet, two restaurants off to the left from the pier, looking towards land. Talked to George, the manager for quite a while, he said that Progeso is almost 65% North American transplants year-round now. We were on foot, so we walked to the town square, then back to the beach, where we ate and then went next door to the bar, happily ensconced on the white leather couches outside, sucking up the alcohol! :)

Actually, it was Puerto Progreso, Yucatan. I think the Progresso you're thinking of is Nuevo Progreso, near Matamoros. Also known as Las Flores by the locals, right? Confusing...
