My guitar appears to be a Silvertone Classsic Guitar, that's the best description I have based on the label inside. I got it from my mom while helping her move from her house out in the county to a place with less of a lawn to mow in the city. She knew I was learning to play the bass and thought I might enjoy it. When I got it there was a busted string and another that seemed tightened too far to be the right string for the job. I took it to Guitar Center and they restrung it for me. They tell me it's a decent guitar and probably 50 years old. Mom bought it from her "hippy" sister a long time ago but never got around to learn how to play, it's been sitting in a closet for most of its life. One of my nieces is taking guitar lessons now, I might just give it to her. Does this guitar have any value? I mean besides being "grandma's" guitar?
