Hi, I'm going to replace the pickup and perhaps the preamp on my 2005 USA stingray 5H. There's almost no volume on the G and D strings. I replaced the strings; replaced battery; raised pickup lowered strings etc etc ... so unless I strike the strings very hard it's almost nothing in the mix... thoughts? I want a pickup that has the same volume on all 5 strings - EMG - Aguilar - Seymour Duncan - etc... anybody have this issue and solve with a new pickup? How about buying a replacement direct from Ernie Ball ? Anybody able to do that?
