Web Fulla Weird: Oddball Basses found online

Thanks! I absolutely agree it looks like something in his style. The thing is, of the few fretless basses I've found of his, I don't see any of them executed with that bridge design, he rarely seems to use contrasting wood knobs, and using only a piezo pickup seems even rarer. So if it's his, outside of the shape I'm inclined to think it's a real departure from what he normally builds. I should probably ask *him*, though...
Yeah, after looking through his models, I don't think it's his, but similar. I know I've seen that body shape before, trying to remember where...

I noticed the image name was "Enigma" so I googled "engima fretless bass" and got another hit, looks like another of the same model (with different woods):

On Pinterest, so no other useful information, other than the caption says "Nestor Navarro bass" in Spanish. No useful hits, unless maybe it's a luthier in Peru somewhere...

....but anyways, there are two of them! :D

followed a link to a Facebook post, and found this description (google translated from Spanish):

"Low made to order for Nestor Navarro. Neck Multilaminate, Walnut, Mahogany (mara), Moradillo Wengee. body Lingue Nacional 1st Finger finger Moradillo Piezo electric transducer system (cambric) Wilkinson Straplock Dunlop tuners Finished in walnut oil."

So Nestor Navarro is the customer, not the luthier. Still, a post to that thread might get you to the luthier:

One step closer was all I needed! Looks like it's a luthier by the name of Mauricio (Mauro) Vos (Link Removed), building out of Santiago, Chile. Judging from his Instagram (@vosguitars) it looks like he mostly builds guitars, but there's a solid bass representation in his work. Scroll down his Instagram far enough and you'll see a more complete pic of the bass from farther up this thread. I even found a YouTube video that seems to be someone playing that same guitar, jamming with a drummer.

Thanks so much for your sleuthing! Or should I call it sleuthiery?
