I found a deal on a weird Ampeg cab. There is no information about it (at least yet, I have inquired), but in the photos it looks like a guitar cab. The part that gets me is that it is front loading (no removable back panel) and it han no jack plate. All of the Ampeg gear I have ever seen has a jack plate with at least some information on it. This cab only has a small 1/4 jack in the middle. Did Ampeg ever make anything like that?

Weird "Ampeg" Cab

I guess it would help if I knew the speaker configuration. I can't tell from the photos. I'll update if and when I get a reply. The only "Ampeg" thing on the cab is the rectangular badge plate in the upper left corner of the grille. I wonder if someone just put a badge on something else.

Back in the mid '70s I used to play bass through a V4 and a pair of those cabinets. The dorm staff loved it!
