Hmm...looks familiar...This is a limited model produced by Ikebe Bass Station to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
Exactly what I meant.It was the sloppy clank I was objecting to. Not my cuppa as far as overall tone goes either. But to your point, that's more a matter of personal taste, so I have nothing to say about that other than it's not me.
F Basses are already made. And Peavey has already done the AlphaBass thing.I'm confused. This is a short scale, four string bass, typically tuned E A D G. Why would you call it a B bass? There is no B. I'd give it an F, maybe a D minus, but it'd have to repeat the course.
And yet the watermark in the first picture says "Ikebe Music since 1975". Does this mean these Bad Boys were made in 1985, and 33 years later they still haven't sold any?
Marketing catastrophe. Hard pass. Looks well made though. That website is well beyond colorful. I'd like to see their other custom basses.
