inexperienceWow. You put Delta LF drivers in the box, and you're wondering why you're not getting mids and highs???
What made you choose the LF drivers in the first place?

I think that you just discovered that it doesn't work to be cheap and wrong.I know you've tried talking me down many times, but ya know... its a problem I have lol. My home rig is for play and experimentation... one day I'll probably load it with the proper drivers, but I'm looking at cheap workarounds for now...

absolutely... and glad to say that the hands-on learning has taught me much more than any article on the web or video could...Gotcha. Honestly, I'm a firm believer in the "learn by doing" mentality. Lord knows I've done enough of that myself!
So now you know a little more about how to interpret and understand the different speaker parameters, right?
Have you spent any time playing with speaker modeling software?

and again...I've done a lot since the initial purchase of the drivers... like I said, I built a 2x12 that's fantastic. Different drivers, of course. I think its funny how many people came here to be condescending...lol "Oh you learned your lesson, now...ha ha" yeah, I learned it a long time ago... this cab has been sitting for a year in my bedroom lol...I'm just looking for something to do with it on the cheap
actually that's both categoriesand again...

don't know who sells itDid you check that thing out?
It may turn out to be a heap of crap, but on paper it looks to actually solve your problem. And as a bonus, it's plenty ugly too.

Just to be clear on this, I was kinda kiddin' on this but, it could work for you...
It could work, it will work just maybe not the low mid-frequency range he may need.Blame it on me. I'm the one encouraging him to drop the $30

No, actually that box with the piezo may be fine as-isYeah, I guess a crossover will be required. That's not my bag though, I play the bass, not wrench on rigs![]()
