I still think the "Bongo" bass is almost as stupid looking as the name is.

Picture this:

-Hey dude, I'm the one that plays a "Conga" with a pick, and has a "Piano" with new pickups.
-Are you nuts?
-No, the maker decided to call it's basses that way.

Anyways, I kinda starting to like bongos look... kinda

Pretty much anything with more than five strings is pretty impractical for me to play. If I need more range, I'll just play my keyboard.

I believe this is Klingon. I think it's called a naQ Duq tagh (pronounced naKwe Duke Taghe-with spit flying out, it means "staff stab lunge") and you play a quick note and impale your audience, two bodies at a time.

if this thread had stuck to practical playability issues i'd have no problem with it, but the "those basses are stupid" comments are in direct violation of the rules about "ugly/stupid bass threads".
