Hey everyone, I've been playing six-string for 35 years, but just jumped into the bass end of the pool about a year ago. I've been having a great time learning the four-string. It's really expanded the way I look at songwriting and taught me a lot about harmony and rhythm.
I've been playing a Gretsch Junior Jet II short scale (which I LOVE), and just picked up a Squier Mini P Bass. Reason being, about six months ago I damaged some of the nerves in my strumming/picking arm, and anything without contours is aggravating the injury.
In any case, I've been lurking here for the past year, and it seems like a friendly place with a lot of good info, so I figured I'd make it official.
I have some questions about the Mini P Bass, but thought I'd post here first... Thanks.
