...........Nice pictures!

That Dargie looks hot, wish I had one! ;)

"poser"....LMAO!
You do, with an extra string no less!
Had a sunny afternoon to snag a few quick pics of her and the 2008LE...
Want to take all of my basses into the studio and spend a full day doing real product shots of them all, like ya see in mfg. catalogs, ad's etc.....gotta find the 4x5 transparency I shot "back in the day" of this customers amazing rick 12 string guitar to show ya.

Alvaro, maybe you know the answer to this question -- is there anything I need to do to occasionally 'treat' the pau ferro fingerboard of my Bongo fretless, such as linseed oil?

Well, according to the Music Man Basses F.A.Q. page, fretboard conditioners are good to preserve the wood, but they will not significantly change the wear to the fingerboard.

ugliest bass ever... or at least close to it. ill stick with my j (or get that ibanez sr5005 prestige ive been drooling over)

Thank you. It saves a Bongo for a more deserving player. :D

Had the Bongo for the first time at rehearsal tonight and the 4-band really showed it's versatility. Using the bridge and bumping the mids gives a great fretless tone... kind of like a hi-fi Jaco. Absolutely loved it and the guitarist did as well.

Recording, I've been dialing in more of the piezos on solo fretless pieces.

The electronics in this thing never cease to amaze me.

Now I'm considering some different strings... I'm looking for something with a bit more mid presence. Maybe TI Jazz Flats, or GHS pressurewounds.

If you want mids, Lo-Rider Nickels or Sunbeams or Circle K.

Maybe there is a club or thread for the "ibanez sr5005 prestige"? :rollno:
Or the Fender J?
I can honestly say as the owner of two Bongos...
The " ugliest bass ever." would flat out blow either of those basses out of the stratosphere. With one hand tied behind it's back and one eye closed. LMAO :bassist:
