Well, this sucks..

RadEd - hadn't seen you post in a while and was worried about you (job/sister). Sorry to hear what a horrible time you've been having. No good advice really, just that even though you don't have custody, you still have a daughter who needs you, regardless of what anyone else says. Focussing on my son was what got me through all the **** at that point in my life when I was a young divorced mom who couldn't make ends meet. Mine got better eventually but I couldn't see how it ever would at the time. You sound like a strong person who is getting WAY overwhelmed. One day at a time at this point, hang on to the bass if at all possible, and I'm praying for you. Wish there was more I could do or say to help. I really feel for you. But know that there are people who care!

I wasn't being serious,I knew you wouldn't tell me.:p

If I slapped you you'd have a concussion and think I'm your grandmother, then I'd take you to a walk in the park and let you play with other kids in the play ground. Then I'd leave you there.
I'm a brute,I'm huge and I'm very strong.My slap is cabale of those.

"His name is Bill and all I can think of is Kill Bill" is a terrible joke. It's one of those jokes that are so bad that they make you laugh.I like that kind of jokes though,my mother and I always do terrible jokes that are seriously not funny and laugh our arses off.Yes,my mother is a bit crazy/weird too,it runs in the family I guess. Also I do that with a friend of mine too.

I really hope those bad things stop happening to you,as Relic said you rock, you're strong. If you weren't you woudn't be able to handle this much.I know you feel like you can't handle but this way or the other way,you somehow do.
Being a mother surely gives you strength even if you are not aware of it,especially when you love your daughter this much.I know you do.

ps:I'd never hit a woman,I don't look like Mika's grandmother (hopefully) and I'm not a brute.I'm not really very strong physically.

Ha ha.

Thanks for the kind words and regards from both of you and everyone here. I can't say how much I appreciate it. :)

Shredder, no. With all of the moving I haven't even had time to apply. Lol.

Matticus, some day I'd be happy to take you up on that offer.. though, yesterday I got to play an American made Fender Special Jazz Bass. I fell in love with it, and it broke my heart to not have it. I was playin' it, while bothering the manager of GC about working there, while I waited to sell my amp.

So what did the GC manager said about working there?

He said they WERE still looking for someone and he'd review my application again.

But this is the 3rd time I've applied and I doubt he'll call. Ahwell. I hope so. ( Discounts would be nice.)
^_^

Discounts+being around all those basses and amps all day...One can dream.:smug:

Pro tip:Next time you apply for a job like that, make sure to wear something that'll shine your...boobies. Stick it into the managers eyes, look him in the eye and convince him that they can help you with the sales to men and lesbians a lot easier.

Damn,only if I had boobies,life would be lot easier.They're like a master key..:ninja:

:D

Mika, did you post in the "Is it easy being you?" thread?

-Mike

No. I'm fairly sure everyone here knows that my life has just been a string of unfortunate and terrible events. Boobs had only made men not listen to me or respect me for who I am and women hate me for not having ones as nice as mine.
I hide them these days. Lol.

Annnnd.. I'll just keep bothering him every chance I get about working there. Lol. I'm not going to take "no" for an answer.

Zing!

And, btw girls are going to be all jealous-like regardless, because sadly it seems that most women are the jealous type. Meh.

I think that's why a few have suggested a bit older woman, someones whose experienced some of this kind of stuff. Do you do church or the religious thing-just asking-not judging? There are some pretty good non-judgmental churches in that area, where you can hang and check things out no pressure. A lot of them have support groups and even aid for this kind of a thing.

And I can't give you any advice on boobies, that's Maki's specialty.:D

Lol. Well, no. I don't go to church and I'm not religious. Just not for me. I've tried my hardest to make friends, but I have PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and ADHD and that makes me a pretty crazy cookie. People tend to hate me. They don't get me, and well I can't blame them. I don't get me, either! Lol. Though, I DID recently join a PTSD forum. It's been pretty nice. :)

And I don't need advice on boobies. I bet I've handled more than Maki has, even. :D Not to mention, I have my own.

:hiding:

And shame on you, Maki! Lol.

I couldn't resist the prospect of a pun involving boobs. I found it very uplifting.

This thread is perplexing. On the one hand, you seem to have been dealt a rough hand. The protector instinct kicks in and wants to help and give advice.

On the other, you seem to have no answers while simultaneously having all the answers. You're down and out but seem to reject any advice as unfeasible.

Reminds me of a story about an invalid waiting by a pool that could miraculously heal him. When the pool stirred, the first one in would be cured. But he was never fast enough to be first.

A guy comes along that can make him well. The guy asks him "Do you want to be healed?" He says he can't get to the water in time. Then the guy heals him.

It seems like a silly question to ask someone that's sick. But sometimes we need to ask ourselves "do we want to be healed?"

+1 The unfortunate sideline of adversity is the fact that concious or not, it will induce a level of narcissism, you may not see it, but outwardly it will show. Jus' saying.
