I think you owe it to your self to get the neck refretted with gold frets.
I like the pearl white, but I like the wood finish on the body too. Feeling conflicted. 75% white, 25% wood, so white wins, but not hands down.
Dunno how many people watch the YT channel, but he reviews a Alpher bass with wenge neck today...
Welcome aboard @Pep
A bit odd? Please elaborateDunno how long it'll last, but Warmoth at the moment has a wenge neck in their screamin deals. It's a bit odd for me.
I've only tried one Warmoth neck and didn't really rate it. Maybe because it was maple not wenge?Dunno how long it'll last, but Warmoth at the moment has a wenge neck in their screamin deals. It's a bit odd for me.

Darn all that water between us!I tried the DiMarzio Relentless ages ago and was 50/50. But then I went through 6 different pickups and ended up with the Barts combo. Sounded good, just not the look. This time around, the DiMarzio Relentless (with different strings), they sound better than I remember and so I'm happy with them.......for now. I do have 6 other brand pickups if I get bored lol.
It's a Barefaced 410 cab. 1000w at 8ohms. Running a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amp. I never have it past 9 o'clock and it never leaves my house, so I'm thinking of selling it with my Genz-Benz heads (×3) and just buying a Fender Rumble 500 combo. Easier to take that to friends places to jam.
Yeah i know what you mean....when i see nice gear i want but it's way over the other side of the planet!!Darn all that water between us!I’d make you an offer.
If you’re thinking about the Rumble 500, check out the 800 combo. Not much more money, but has Neo speakers so it’s MUCH lighter. It also has a 1/4 power switch which is great when you’re using it at home.
