Westone bass

Some guy in my area is trying to sell a MIJ Westone
for around $266 (exchange rate).

from the picture it appears to be a Thunder 2 model v3
produced around 1983, pearl silver finish.

pictures were pretty low-res so while the bass may look pretty intact, there's no way to know until i actually go there and check it out.

What do you guys think its worth?

I have two thoughts:

1) If it's in great shape, it may be worth it.

2) Responses to posed questions will come quicker if you could use terms that are more PC in order to prevent subliminal offense. :scowl:

They usually are a bit cheaper, but they
are hard to come by. If it's in good shape
and you like it, it's worth it because they
are good basses,

Sounds high to me. Those are not basses growing value over time
like a mint old PBass.

Thanks for the suggestions! if he hasnt sold it by the 30th then i'll try to bargain him off of it. maybe i can get him down to around $200.
