Last bass type purchase.......almost 2 years ago......a new Fender AVII '54 P Bass.
I had no business buying this bass. It was an impulse buy and no fooling, in the near 2 years of ownership, I've played it less than 15 mins.
It's not that I don't like it but I am 73 years old now, have about 14 basses already and it was irresponsible for me to buy it.
I've had it up for sell but everybody is broke.
Anyway, it is a beauty and weighs a hair less than 8.5 lbs.

My Source Audio Zio Bass arrived today but missed delivery, going to post office tomorrow to collect so will be disappearing in the music room for a while once I get it home.
Probably a funeral arrangement.

My first set of TI Jazz flats strings.
Put em on my back-up bass, a Fender Jazz Elite.
Noodling around the house, LOVE em!
Used them for one set on a couple of jobs with the band over last weekend.....so far, the jury is still out, but, I don't think they're gonna work for me in a live band setting.

Nothing to fancy, a Nu-x double layer pedal board. I don't use a ton of pedals but I wanted to get the light controller and wireless receiver up and away from my clumsy feet.

A rare BaCH NR Thunderbird. Modded with a Gibson Les Paul bass pickup. It’s my second BaCH Thunderbird. This one will receive a Wilkins refin, probably in Pelham Blue.

I love those basses. I tracked one down just so I could play it and compare it to my real 1964 P. Surprised that Fender got it so close to the real deal. I didn’t buy it though. I might grab the 1960 AVII though.
Bass Related - My Focusrite Scarlett 4th Gen 2i2 DI. My old DI was a 1st Gen 2i2 from 2013 and I had to retire it after 11 years because it wasn't compatible with my new laptop.
