I had this Peavy Foundation Mom bought me in 86, when I defretred my P Bass copy she bought me 5 years earlier. The Peavy did me solid for 20 years as a primary player, until it was stolen in 2003. That’s when I moved to Fender, Alembic, and Warwick basses.

I have an '89 Carvin LB75 (five-string) in Ferrari Red that's got a near-identical body. Neck is a 24-fret with ebony fretboard, MOP block inlays and a Jackson-esque tilted pointy headstock. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for similar.

I had a Washburn B-20 in the 80s. Bought it new in 1981-ish. Neck dive, and a little voice, but I liked it. Made it fretless (was great as a fretless!), and it was with me until December 2017.

I really like mine, but it's ergonomics are horrible. It won't ever be sold though.

I was fortunate enough to get both of my Kawais in the early 2000's when they were affordable. I wish I'd done the same with the car in my avatar.
