What are some easy Beatles songs?

I play in a Beatles cover band - always loved Day Tripper, but it drives me absolutely bananas when I hear some dork grinding out the "E" lick in the open position. Tried pointing out that it's correctly played 1 octave up on a bass, but I usually get, "yeah, well I can't play it like that and nobody notices anyway." Believe me, they DO.

Glad I'm not the only one:D

"Oh Darlin' " has some nice walking lines. I dig "I Want You (She's so Heavy)" too.

Your best bet is to buy a copy of "The Beatles Complete Scores" book.
Has every song recorded by them including all the bass tabs.
Although its not 100% correct on a lot of songs, it will give you a good idea where to start.
Although I am "Old School" by playing along with all their LP's and listening to Paul's notes, the Scores Book is an asset.
