sadly, this may be the only time in my life when I've had some extra cash to spend... but for some reason, I don't want to buy anything

Fender Custom Shop Jazz bass 4For me it's a Mesa wd800 either 2 210 subway cabs or some barefaced cabs. I don't need any of it and I am satisfied with my current rig for now, but that how gas works
Bass wise would probably be something from Alpher Instruments
A roadie.
Sorry Bunk, ROAD REX is retired.
Duly noted. I'm not even sure where to ask. I live in Massachusetts, but most of my gigs are in Connecticut. Story of my life, really. I lived in North Carolina for 10 years, and most of my gigs were in South Carolina.
I'm in the same boat. I don't have much extra money laying around but I have a deal with my wife, I can spend the money I make on gigs on whatever gear I want. But I've definitely "frittered away" a lot on pickups, strings, necks, cases etc.I actually have the opposite issue (well, I'm in the same boat as you with no $)
Extra $ is really hard for me to save up due to life happening. So when I'm broke I see all this stuff that I would love to have. When I actually have some $ I look at everything I wanted and realize I can only get a little bit. So it forces me to really evaluate everything because I dont know when I will have that $ again and I dont want to just fritter it away on whatever.
