Amps - I just need some time to mod my Eden WT400
Cabinets - I tried to get a brother for my new Eden D112XST8, but the Amazon seller didnt follow through.
Bass - Still want a used USA Peavey Cirrus 4 to go with my USA Cirrus 5. But then I see basses like the Sandberg Classic TM 4 below that make me want to keep saving my pennies. No stores around here have them, anyone want to comment on what the neck is like? I really wish the MM pickup was a little further from the bridge to be more in that Stingray spot
Other GAS says buy a used Lakland 44-02 because I Know what to expect...

Ampeg Heritage SVT-CL. Do I need one? NO! I have an Ampeg V4B, Pf-500, SVT 3PRO, SVT-7PRO, SVT-350. But I have a Heritage SVT-410HLF Cabinet that the Heritage head would look so good on and I'm sure it would sound great. But I do love the V4B with the (2)SVT210AV cabs.

I actually have the opposite issue (well, I'm in the same boat as you with no $)

Extra $ is really hard for me to save up due to life happening. So when I'm broke I see all this stuff that I would love to have. When I actually have some $ I look at everything I wanted and realize I can only get a little bit. So it forces me to really evaluate everything because I dont know when I will have that $ again and I dont want to just fritter it away on whatever.

I have GAS for Few things but aside from pedals lately it hasn't been bad enough to actually pull the trigger when considering things like the price and benefit. For example amp wise I'm pretty happy. I've been running a Mesa d-800 into some ampeg classic cabs.

Sure I'd love to have one of those new lightweight Mesa subway 2x15 cabs but the price at $1600 and knowing My ampeg cabs are worth more to me than they are on the used market has held off the gas for now. Especially considering I never mic cabs anymore and very rarely play without decent front of house support so my cabs are basically just stage monitors for me these days. Maybe someday I'll get tired of moving them though and go a lightweight neo cab.

Bass wise I'm pretty happy. I have what I need, really I could probably go down to just my Dingwall and still be pretty happy so anything else at this point is strictly in the "want/for fun" category. Mainly wanting another fretless and a bass set up as a piccolo bass for solo noodling. Miss having those around. I may actually convert my jazz bass into a fretless at some point though considering it's not getting much use right now in the "backup" roll. A 5 string fretless jazz is a bass that's been on my bucket list for a while and if I have to finish a gig on fretless if something went wrong with my Dingwall it wouldn't be the end of the world. I felt pretty comfortable on my last fretless.

Started rebuilding my pedalboard recently. It's nothing fancy. Just a little pedaltrain mini, with a shure glxd, darkglass micro tubes X, and a tc nova repeater delay, plan to get a looper for practicing and mindless noodling at home. Leaning towards the new boss rc-10r right now because it has a drum machinebuilt in and can do two part loops like verse and chorus. But my cioks dc5 won't power the boss, the delay, and the wireless system at the same time as it only has two 300mA outs so we'll see. I guess I could use my one spot or the power supply that came with the shure to power the wireless.

I guess we'll see lol

Well... I'm kind of stuck. Been wanting to get a couple of DNA's DNS-112 cabs but can't buy both at once. The whole reason I bought my DNS-410 was because DNA didn't make a 212 cab and I couldn't afford to buy two of the 112's. It was less expensive to buy the DNS-410 (street price of $1,049 - I paid $999 in 2015) than two of the DNS-112's (would be $1,398). And, since the DNS-410 will handle 1400-watts rms (both thermally and mechanically), I'm not going to hurt it with my 800-watt amp unless I do something really stupid.

I find myself in the same situation again. The DNS-210 is looking mighty nice to me. Have read lots of good reports on it and the DNS-210 is $749. Just a little bit more than one DNS-112 ($699 each). Plus, it's not too big to use in a small club nor too small to use in a medium sized club. And I have my DNS-410 for deep room medium-sized clubs, large clubs, outdoor gigs, and festival gigs.

Here's a demo cued up to the part where he's playing through a DNA-1350 head into the DNS-210 cabinet. I cued it up to where he starts playing. Sounds great until he starts messing with the different features of the head, especially the shape knob. He pulls out a Lakland near the end.

He's primarily demoing the DNA-1350 head on this video but you get a good chance to hear what that 210 cab will do. It's been around for a long time, so the comments he makes about the DNA-1350 head becoming available are from somewhere around 2012. The ending bit as the credits roll sounds especially good in my Bose headphones!



If I were to gas for another bass, it would be the Sklar signature 5-string bass from Dingwall...

The only piece of equipment I would entertain buying is the Mesa WD-800, but I'm not paying a grand for it. I'm patiently waiting for someone's gently used one to hit the market. As for cabs, I like the ones I have.
