I'm really happy with the Squier I picked up recently (VM Jazz) so on the bass front, I'm GASsing for a gaggle of Squiers, a P, a Jag, maybe even a telebass. VMs or CVs where applicable. I think I'm GASsing for Squiers as much for the shopping as the bass itself. When I go Squier shopping, I play every Squier I can find, and usually a few low end Fender's for comparison. So that might be GSW (Guitar Shop Withdrawal) as much as GAS...

But I am genuinely gassing for a Wounded Paw Black Sheep Pre-amp, and a Wounded Paw Battering Ram 2.6, I'm still loving the rig I recently put together, so no GAS there, well every now and then I get the urge to pick up another pair of SVT210AV's so I can complete my "Modular 810" but that's easily managed...

I did the heating/cooling system thing last year.. To the tune of $5K.. I can definitely tell a difference in my utility bill each month. Still, that was a huge chunk o'change that I'd rather not have had to spend.

Although i've never been a P-Bass guy, I've recently been GASsing hard for a 5 string P-Bass. I have no idea why!! I'm totally settled with the J-bass format, suits me just fine.

This P-bass itch.... they make something for that right???

This is a very low-brow gas attack, but, even with a nice stable of basses, I miss my old Ibanez SRX400 in olive. It was weird, but it sounded great, and it remains the "one that got away."

Even with my collection of Fenders I have already, I would love to try out one of those new Dimensions. In Candy Apple Red of course. Might make me forget all about that Gibson Victory bass I let get away.

G&L USA ASAT in medium or short scale for improved balance. If only it existed. Come on G&L, a Tele bass body needs a shorter scale length!
