What are you reading Chapter 4

Anyone read the new Harry Potter? I'm hearing mostly bad reviews. JK Rowling didn't write it all herself and it apparently reads like fan fiction. I love the books and have read each one several times but I'm worried this might only piss me off.
I'm quoting this cuz it got stuck in the previous page and this thread doesn't get a lot of action.

I'm re-reading Christopher Hitchens' God Is Not Great.
Seems to make the folks sitting next to me on the subway a little uncomfortable. :)

I've had the same reaction from people at work years ago when it first came out. In December it'll be 5 years since he died. Such a shame. If anyone out there is still smoking cigarettes, please stop.

I'm reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. I mostly read it at a park when my kids are playing, and being in the Bible belt, I get some looks when people ask me about it. I've also had some good conversations as well.

I'll report back in a couple days, my wife is a Harry Potter fanatic, she spent the whole weekend watching all the films in order. I got the new book/play script for her today.

Just finished "nitro mountain" written by a good friend and fellow bass player, Lee Johnson. Check it out! Very Cohen brothers esque, and the main character plays bass in Appalachian bar bands.

Going to dive into "the peoples' history of the United States" next.

Also- gotta love the Hitchens and Dawkins reading going on! I remember getting those looks.

Another mountaineering classic but this one's kind of meh. It's an early comprehensive history of the North Face of the Eiger so there are good sections (especially the part that Clint Eastwood's rescue in the Eiger Sanction is based on) but it's too disjointed for my taste.
