Don’t know if this should be in it’s own thread but, how many still read the King James Bible? My church uses it for all reading and reference, personally I read the New American Standard and lately the New English Bible. Some are aggressively KJ only but that ignores 2000 years of careful father research. Looking forward to quiet and peaceful replies.
Read the KJ version in Jr High early '70s and again in the late '90s as a book, meaning from beginning to end.
Read the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures three or four years ago as part of the 100 Books version of the BBC Big Read. Posted a review on What are You Reading back a bunch of pages or "Chapters". Go fish
Always an interesting read having no real emotional attachment. Certainly like The Gospels and Micheal in the New Testament.
No discussion desired. Just responding. I would recommend as a read - but it's a l o n g one! Not as long as Les Miserables, though. peace.
