What are you reading Chapter 4

It takes a lot to get past the (I am assuming) writing style/word choices that Heino uses, but the technical information provided in the book is excellent. If you have a, or are building, a collection of books on Japanese architecture as I have been for a few years now, I'd say get the book. The drawings by themselves make it worth the dense text to get through. I understand this book is really only a section taken out of a much larger book he wrote in the '60s called The Japanese House: A Tradition for Contemporary Architecture.
Two more books finished...
The Islander, by Island Records' Chris Blackwell. A really interesting read, the guy certainly had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, and knowing how to let an artist develop.
Next, Stanley Tucci's Taste. Didn't know a thing about him, apart from seeing him on a food show from Naples once, which almost had me booking flights there! He certainly comes across as a nice guy, loves his food, and includes some great-looking recipes throughout.

Finally getting back to some of my "heavy" reading topics - mostly fancy literature type things. Really wanting to get back in to some mythology. So today I started that journey back into the the mythic realm with some of Tolkien's takes on it: "The Lay of Aotrou and Itroun" and then his "Sir Orfeo". I completed them both, but "Orfeo" is part of a collection of rare Tolkien stuff, and it's been far too long since I've read any of it. I think tomorrow may be "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" or perhaps "Pearl" or "Farmer Giles of Ham". We'll see where the night takes me!

Only read that one once, and it's been a while. I remember enjoying it and feeling it was a bit "silly", but there's nothing wrong with that!
