The book itself, a rather fanciful and stylistically crude autobiography of Robert Beck, is about pimpin' in 1938 Chicago. It has many wonderful moments.

Yeah, Ive been reading It for a few weeks now. I think after this one I may cool it with the King books for a while. He's practically all Ive been reading since the start of the year. The book is great though. I also enjoyed The Stand, The Deadzone, and The Tommyknockers.
