What are you waking up to today?

I woke up today to a Hammond organ in pieces, two stupid ass dogs that had gotten their chains wrapped around several trees(!), and my best friend that had blown up my Facebook news feed with pictures from her beach trip. I also woke up to the realization that I have to get two albums done, I have band practice tomorrow, and that I am out of soda and coffee.

I wake up to my gf waking me up for work usually. She gets up and gets ready and then I would get up. If we are both getting up the same time, either her phone alarm (always changes) wakes us up, or mine. Mine is a great song by Clannad called Seachran Charn Tisail. I highly recommend it

I woke up to a house with a new TV, computer, phone system, and a buttload of new surge protectors.

This post is proof the new computer works, after driving across town to get a new modem and cable box. I'm still figuring out the differences between 7 and XP.

Now let's go see if we can get a couple hundred channels on the idiot box.

Amazing what a couple of lightining strikes will do to a whole house electrical system. I'm just ever so thankful my workshop is not attached and runs off a different feed than the house.

I woke up to my beautiful wife. Like a good bass, she just gets better and better as I play her. She will never know how much a better man I have become since I met her.

What are you waking up to today?

I wake up to some chiming bells type alarm on my phone, roll over to see my beautiful new wife fast asleep (the bells dont seem to wake her). I get up to see my two crazy cats lying about. Then I take a shower, get dressed, and climb back in bed with the wife for a few minutes before I have to leave.

I get up to the same thing every day - sore hips and legs, another day unemployed and looking for a job that in all likelihood isn't there, a big bowl of cereals and two cups of coffee, and surfing the Web. It'll be the same thing tomorrow, and the next day, and the next....

This is too weird to make up . . .

I went out to my vehicle to go to work and laying about 4 feet from my drivers door were a pair of sandals perfectly positioned as if someone were wearing them .... cover in poo. They were more on my retired neighbors side so I left em :D It'll give him something to do... besides, he's a Steelers fan.
