My cat mewing cuz the birds outside this morning were particularly loud. Woke me up 30 minutes early, so I felled asleep again until my usualy routine kicked in.
A stiffened hand from my usual "practice myself to sleep", The Manchurian Candidate on AMC, stupid kids screaming in the pool signaling I overslept, about to hit the road with these brain dead and/or stereotype women drivers, usual "hope to god I don't get killed because of them" crosses my mind....
Hot sticky weather, a sore lower back, an empty apartment, and another day of stress and crap on top of more crap.
But other than that it was a good morning.

My pillow is what I woke up to. Same every day.
My wonderful wife is who I woke up to see next to me. Having her next to me is alway a great way to start the day.

4:04am - The overwheming urge to pee.
5:21am - The aching in my back and shoulder.
6:50am - The beeping of my alarm clock.
6:59am - The beeping of my alarm clock, again
...and the sound of my wife snoring through it all.

School days? Getting a chill down my spine after realizing I'm about to get up to another hellish day. I drag myself into the bathroom with no time to spare.
Summer? I wake up to my face being caressed at 11 AM by the midday sun, having no obligations, and ready for an excellent fun day after getting a good rest.

A spongebob ringtone, hungry, not enough sleep, needing to drive to tualitin to go to the dentist, and chiropractor.
Today was different. I woke up to the sound of a loud jet aircraft overhead, my gf(best description of her) greeting me on FB, dogs that are hungry, but otherwise happy, Looney Tunes, and the possibility of a beach trip.
