Fralins, which sound great and can be ordered with custom +/- windings. The P/J sets that I have in my Wilkins basses are standard P with a +1 Split Coil Jazz which give me big warm lows and a smooth sweet top. They are also quiet and very well balanced.

For best bang for the buck, I'd pick Seymour Duncans.

I'd also like to mention the G&L pickups in the SB-2, great sounding pickups!

I've fallen in love with the tone of the Lace single coil guitar pickups that Birdsong puts in the neck position. Especially soloed with a fretless neck.

I'd like to compare it against a Darkstar.
