OK. So we're all bass players, musicians. That's a pretty creative activity whether it is our profession or hobby. What are your other creative interests? Gardening, cooking, painting, home repairs? If music is your hobby, is your profession something that is creative?

Me:
My creative hobbies include woodworking and cooking. I would also do gardening, but I don't have enough time to do what I want. My other non-creative hobbies include being involved in my profession's state association and the local high school band booster organization. Edit: I'm also a fairly close NY Yankees fan. It's going to be a tough year!

What do you do?

Cooking. I cook every meal at our house.

Not really creative but other interests: Ice Hockey. I have been playing for 40 years and played Pro-Am for about 10 of those.

Restoring classic cars, especially 1960's through the mid 1970's.

I also enjoy cooking. I've never been one to stick to a recipe past the first attempt. I'm always playing around with different ingredients and spices to make things tastier. Naturally, there have been some less-than-stellar results, but I have also come across a lot of ways to really make a dish pop.

I'll also write every once in a while, mostly lyrics but occasionally comedy and funny comics ala Explosm. (At least I think they're funny...)

I throw pottery--stoneware and porcelain. Until my eyesight became too poor, I did sort of a charcoal relief type drawings of faces.
Oh! Also, I do have a creative interest in leatherwork and woodwork. However, it's only an interest, 'cause I'm rather lousy at both.
