Come join us here if you haven't alreadyMy other big obsession is motorcycles. My dad always had a bike when I was growing up, so I got my license as soon as I was old enough. I had a nice Norcal style sportster I built, but an old lady in a Buick killed it. Now I'm riding a triumph speedmaster. Here's a picture of my new bike, and one of my old bike in front of my wife's bike View attachment 5420007 View attachment 5420008

They certainly don't make 'em like they used to.19th century Cast iron, nickel and brass inclinometers/spirit levels. This particular maker started in 1867 and it has taken over 10 years to find certain models because of their rarity. There are plenty of some models always on ebay.View attachment 5419740 View attachment 5419741 View attachment 5419742 View attachment 5419743 View attachment 5419744
music related: bass, guitar, writing/recording original music, audio engineering1658 days ago I asked the same question. I though it might be fun to ask it it again since 1) there's lots of new folks here and 2) the old-timers might have new obsessions.
As for me, I still love baseball (go Braves).
I'll never stop being interested in astronomy; I did a public-outreach "sidewalk astronomy" session just this weekend.
I still like photography but its not quite the obsession it was. I haven't used the B&W darkroom in a few years; maybe its time to take it down.
How about you?
What's in a naim, anyway. Sounds like a great hobby.Hi-fi.
I modify some Naim Audio amps and get the best sound someone can imagine.
I also participated to the design of some hi-fi speakers over the years with one of my friends that built 212 prototypes and finally stopped and now makes 3 different models that sound awesome.
And now, I put together parts to build basses !
Hi-fi.
I have the beginnings of one (it was used in the old photography business.I'm kind of a little bit of a Star Wars geek...(that's me with my son...who is also a bass player)
