What audio interface are you using?

I prefer audio-interfaces like the Arturia Studio or the SPL Crimson or the Model 12 from Tascam that allow me to use it in a comfortable way without a computer. For me this is the most important feature. I hate operating a mouse while a heavy bass hangs around my shoulder. The Model 12 even allows recording without a computer.

Zoom U-24 - no frills, easy setup and sounds great. 3.5 years of nearly daily use (I practice through my computer mostly) and no problems. Currently on sale 38% off at Amazon:

Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. Yeah, old and discontinued, but still works like a charm and pretty inexpensive on the used market.
Feel the same about my Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 (although they still make many other Scarletts). Use it every day for videoconferencing and practice. A couple of nice sounding preamps built in, and I have sufficient external preamps to record the band when we need. A good interface can last a long time!

In the market for one, thought I'd see what you guys are using and if you're happy with it

Steinberg UR12. It is simple, not real expensive and works well for what I need. I use it primarily for remote recording sessions using Cubasis software. I have done tracks onalmost two LPs as well as some other projects. Works great. I have a Digitech effect pedal that can also be used as an interface, but I'm not a fan of the effects. I figure if the engineer/producer wants to have effects, he can download them and add it in on his end.

The only problem I've had is it requires power from your computer to work. If you use an Ipad to record, the UR12 will drain your battery in about 25 minutes.

On a side bar Steinberg is now owned by Yamaha and the customer service is great.
