I'm still deciding, but the Sadowsky has been my best friend lately.
Got a funk gig; so my trusty Ultra Jazz will be hanging from my neck.
Tonight: winery gig where I'll be near a door and walkway, tight space, so using my StingRay 5 string, and my small pedal board.
Tomorrow: big sports bar, I'll bring a Wal 5 and 4 string

Last night was a Lull P5 into a small rig (board > AG700 > AudioKinesis TC15), but hopefully I can play the Zon through a bigger rig tonight -- like this setup (Zon TJ5 > board > dbx676 > Aguilar db680 > QSC PLX3602 > three Baer ML112s) from a local outdoor gig last month:

Had it for close on 50 years. Its on its 4th case but the guitar is in great condition.
If I close my eyes and picture a Sadowsky, this bass is what I see.
I don't usually play bass guitar, but a local high school needed a bass player last minute for their production of the Abba musical, so I borrowed my dad's JB. Having way too much fun with it…
