What bass do you hate the most?

You're going to have to be quite a bit more subtle to rattle my cage. I own a ton of parts basses, and I love 'em.

:mad:You know whats funny on here? it's that people flame you on here sometimes without merritt. When did it become a capitol offense to hate an inantimate object? I'm sure MOST people at talkbass can think of basses that they despise, hate, wish they could run through a wood chipper just at the very sight of them. Get over it, there are basses that people just dont like or even hate for that matter, if it happens to be one that you DO like, oh well, different strokes. With that my choice is P basses of ANY kind and pretty much anything close to resembling Most Fenders. There, because I'm sure there are a gazillion folks here that think thats just plain bass blasphemy. People saying this is a stupid thread and "i dont hate any basses", fine but the reality is a whole lotta people do and the have every right to. To the poster, your opinion is your own, you dont have to be sorry for that.

haha all the basses people are talking about hating on this thread I always thought were pretty nice(besides the squier bronco, if that's what you were referring to) but that's still no reason to hate it...

come on people now smile on your brother let me see you get together love one another right now:)

A particularly annoying geeky little $£^^%& (I'm a proper nerd myself but one of those really arrogant ones that's proper annoying) who was a really crap metal bassist and didn't like any bass made before the 90's by the sounds of it and sat in the corner every breaktime at music college playing Metallica really badly, said my Candy Red '79 U.S.A. Bullet Deluxe was the ugliest bass he'd ever seen. It one of the best compliments payed to any of my bass equipment ever.

I know there's plenty of people in here that don't like this thread and there's those that enjoy it but in the end of the matter it is against the TB rules to run a thread about basses you think are ugly. It's not to restrain anyone or keep everyone in line. It's because threads like this have gotten out of hand really fast, like this one, and people can't control their own lack of respect. I'm suprised this thread has lasted this long.

A bass doesn't have to be "ugly" for someone to hate or not like it, dont see how this breaks forum rules to mention your dislike of an instrument.

Lecompte and Bee basses totally suck and look like deformed boat oars..... are we having fun yet??

I bought a Fender Bronco for my daughter. She's not totally interested yet, but when she wants to play it, I take it off and let her play it. For 150 bucks, it's short scale is a blast to bend strings on and it kind of sounds like an old Tele.
;>) whatever.
At least it's not neck heavy like that '76 T-Bird I had. That one had to go.

Don't apologize ,it was a perfectly reasonable thread to start, if people dont like it they don't have to read it. Btw I have flying v basses , owned one once before and could not get used to the shape , swapped it for a p bass copy within a couple of months
