What bass guitar?

Hello everybody!

Does anybody know what type of Thunderbird plays Nikki Sixx here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZFAwHWr4z4
I´m 100% sure it is not a Gibson.

Sorry I can't help, but allow me to get OT for a second here: I've never liked any Crue stuff, but his tone sounds pretty good on this! I imagine it's a Gibson Custom Shop instrument. When you endorse their guitars, and you're as well-seen as Sixx is, they'll pretty much do anything for you.

It's a "Spectorbird". To quote Wikipedia here...

These Spector basses were shaped like Thunderbirds and usually commonly called Spectorbirds. Sixx owned at last ten Spectorbirds. All ten had an opti-grab, 1 volume knob, P & J pickups, 24 frets and Spector Basses "Crown" inlays.
