Pare for the course with Bungle - I saw one show where Trevor wore a large Chinese paper mâché baby head for 1/2 the show. That was part of what made Mr Bungle great - their total irreverence to accepted standards backed up with outrageous musicianship.

Another pic of TD playing the bass in question during the California (name of CD/Tour) period. They mostly wore white to echo The Beach Boys vibe.
You know, I saw Faith No More open for Billy Idol when Epic was still the only song anyone knew. The other guys in the band came out wearing whatever they wore, then Mike Patton walks out wearing a Domino's Pizza employee uniform. So I figured that he'd be good for some pretty wild stage wear over the course of his career, but with Mr. Bungle, he took it to extremes.
Probably not quite that much in the 90's. They're one of Alembic's "budget" models, and most of them priced around the $2000-3000 range back then. The reverse headstock was extra, I'm sure.
I honestly don't remember but I did read about it years ago. I want to say it was around the $6k range but it may have been even higher than that.
I'll say he did LOL. I was at the Primus/Bungle/Melvins show on NYE in 1992 at the Bill Graham Civic in SF and THAT was the most insane show I will ever witness. Let's just say there was a mechanical Santa Claus on stage and Patton did very vulgar and explicit things to that poor thing.

There was an early live Bungle show on YouTube that has since been deleted (?) where the ending became totally chaotic with Patton flinging himself into the drum-kit. There's this NIN show where Reznor does the same thing. Love the cinema verite style of filming it.

Unfortunately, I have never found one, I'm not sure a recording of it even exists. Had it been in the era of camera phones like today, it would definitely be all over YouTube I'm sure lol.
