I’m not sure about loyalty as such - I tend to go with what suits me best. That said, most of my stuff is Fender stuff, it just feels like home. I do have one Musicman bass, though, and it’s fantastic.

Pre-Peavey Trace Elliot gear - esp Series V and VI and their killer red line and Kamen era cabs.

The new stuff - haven't tried it, so no real opinion good or bad - still it's nice to see the green and black get some visibility wi the new gear.

I've been very happy with Alien Audio over the past several years. I still have other basses that I play, and of course I have a P and a J, but the Aliens get most of my play time. Over the past year, the 30" five Alien Audio Lunar has received the most love. It's special.

For basses, it's been all G&L for several years. I still love my 2003 MIA Fender J--but it's the only surviving Fender of a herd that once contained four. Also, if/when I take the plunge for another five-string, I'm open to trying something other than G&L.

For amps: G-K. Apart from two gigs for which I used my old (but great) Roland Cube Bass 100, my personal rigs for shows have been exclusively G-K since about 2005. However, during my last few gigging years, a rig was usually supplied so even my G-K stuff didn't see much action. I did break it out for my last show, a memorial/tribute to my last band's deceased leader, and was again reminded how great it sounds.

While i've owned other brands in the past, i always come back to Fender. I might as well stick with it just to keep things simple. I just love the sound and playability of Jazz/P basses. The only future purchase i imagine might not be a Fender would be a 6-string bass

I have a Jazz, Mustang and Tele, all MIM. I also own a Champion 20. In the past I owned a Pro Reverb and a Dual Showman. So I guess I'm a Fender guy, but I also own a couple Epiphone that I really like.

I’ve owned a T40 and a Foundation, as well as several Peavey amps over the years. I still have a Delta bass and a Max 115. I think Peavey gives good value and they last forever. Never had one go south on me.
