What brand has all your loyalty?

I guess if I had say loyal which I don't know if I am "loyal" or not, I would say Carvin / Kiesel although I might buy something else if after playing it I decided I loved it. Right now the answer is what I gave above, however I do like Ibanez soundgear basses, and if a Steinberger were to fall into my lap I would definitely be playing that especially if it was a five string one..

I play DR hi beams light gauge strings too, loyal?? not really sure, same answer as above..its all a fluid thing lol today's love might very well end up being kicked to the curb...thats life.

The more I find great gear the more brand loyal I become...There have been things come and go but the ones I list I do so based on the product quality and my postive experiences. I am not saying there is not a whole lot of other awesome stuff out there..these are just the brands that stick with me solidly...

The brands I don't want to play music without these days include

Warwick, Spector, Darkglass, Source Audio, Morningstar, EBS, Eventide, Daddario.

I dont know about loyalty per se, I just know that I love Warwicks so those are what I buy. Its all subjective to the player I guess

I found things I liked, then found other things I liked, then yet other things I liked. And a few I didn't like too, those I left on the side.

In the end one can be a source of information about good things or some disgruntled broken record who only liked one thing in its life.

Really only to small pedal builders who I think have done right by me and others. Broughton, Fuzzrocious, Idiotbox and Lone Wolf come immediately to mind. I don’t do brand loyalty to big companies.

Brand Loyalty is pretty flexible, IMHO. Since some things certain manufacturers simply won't do. As my avatar shows, I would consider myself loyal to Lakland, but that signifies only that they are the first place I'd look if I wanted to lay down a wad of cash on a new bass.
At the same time, Lakland don't do anything that has the clacky sound of a Ric, or the grindy midrange of a Warwick, so if I was looking for that sound, I'd get a Ric or a Warwick.

In terms of amps, I'm very unsettled. The amp manufacturer I have most of is Eden (one combo, two pedals).
But I would definitely want to try before I bought. I needed a half-stack quick so I got the cheapest option on Thomann, which was an Ashdown MAG 300 with 410 cab, and it's just too dark sounding to my ears. Listening to the videos of the expensive Ashdown stuff, like the CTM series, I have the feeling that Ashdown have a baked-in dark tone to them. So I have brand disloyalty to Ashdown, I suppose.

I like more midrangey sounds, so I think Eden would be a good shout. Just need to gather the money...

I spread my instruments loyalties around. Kubicki, Spector, Peavey, and anything started by Leo.

I do own a few Rickenbacker's. But loyalty? Sometimes I just want to slap that JH sumbitch.

Ampwise, I'm a Genz Benz guy. (With a splash of Mesa and Ashdown on the side).

No brand has my 100% loyalty. I like variety so I own lots of different basses, amps, cabs, effects and studio gear from a huge number of different manufacturers.

Having said that, I really like strings from Thomastik and Pyramid. Between them they cover 70-80% of my basses (and most of the rest are Rotos for whenever I need THAT sound). Probably as close as I'm ever gonna get to brand loyalty.

To be honest I find the whole idea of being loyal to a brand ridiculous. I guess getting paid for an endorsement deal could be a reason to stick with a brand (at least in public...) but getting paid to be some corporation's poster boy isn't really my defintition of "loyal".

I didn’t plan it- but ‘knowing what to expect’ has caused me to stick with *these*...

Fender- these 3 are total FrankenFenders- saves me paying for a ‘custom’ instrument!

Markbass- purchased a CMD 121P, in 2009, and have stayed with them ever since! (had a few others- but know ‘what to expect from MB).

QSC- have been (continuously) building a portable PA system... QSC stuff is, virtually, ‘idiot-proof’ (I can relate)

None. Currently I owned a Fender, Lakland, Stingray and a Yamaha. I wont have a problem selling them to buy something else.

The only brand I am loyal to is Honda’s automobiles.
