what (budget) cab and head should i get

What exactly is your budget?? TC Electronic BQ500 and Bugera Veyron M are solid and affordable new with warranties. Probably have to go used for a decent cab.

I have a Marshall MB450 which I like a lot, and it was relatively cheap. If I played stoner, doom and stuff like that, I would LOVE it.

If you're looking for something that packs a lot of features and a lot of power for not a lot of money. Look for a used Peavey Firebass 700 head. You can find them reasonably priced used and they are packed with power. I used one of those on top of a cheapy 410 cabinet. it might have been a seismic I can't remember to tell you the truth what brand it was. But I was playing in a band with two guitar players and a loud drummer and I was able to keep up without issues. And I never had a problem with any of the gear.

Older GK heads, especially the GK 400RB can be found, usually in the $200 range…they are way louder than their wattage would indicate and they are absolutely bulletproof.

so i have a good pedal board, and i’m looking for a good overdrive for some nice low-mid stuff that isn’t crazy expensive
looking to play some stoner stuff but also has to be versatile for other stuff

planning my trip to guitar center to test things

so i’m in a band with some friends and i have realized that i need a WAY louder amp then my first one (a 15 watt fender rumble lol)
i play a lot of stoner rock and doom (kyuss, sleep, elder), and my band plays some other general rock stuff so it should be versatile-ish
i don’t have a set budget, i’m just hoping the facebook marketplace gods will smile upon me
been looking at some peavey stuff and i’ve been recommended some other stuff i have been meaning to check out
i’d prefer a separate cab and head, but if there’s a good combo i’ll check it out

should’ve stated that i’m gonna look on the used market, so i need options
