It looks to me like you are mixing caffeine and coffee. Caffeine has no color, it can't stain your teeth or so anything to your stomach.
The color of caffeinated sodas typically comes from caramel. They just make them blakc to remind you of coffee
Jazz Ad said:I believe that people drinking soda early in the morning, even with the excuse of it being caffeinated should seriously question their eating and drinking habits.
A Red Bull contains enough sugar for the average guy to run 6 miles. If you don't plan to run 6 miles within a short time, there is no real reason to drink such awful beverages.
I'm no doctor though, consider this is an uneducated common sense opinion.
I'm rather old school, I like black coffee.
FREAKYSTLYEY said:While I respect many of your posts this is 100% flawed..
It's like saying font eat a dinner consisting of 300 calories unless you plan on running 18 miles. A redbull is 110 calories..

Caffeine is highly acidic. It causes stomach and intestinal problems. Caffeine's diuretic properties are what causes dehydration, constipation and other maladies.
EDIT: You're right. Caffeine itself does not stain teeth. Coffee does.
Wikipedia said:Caffeine has diuretic properties when administered to people who are not used to it, but regular users develop a tolerance to this effect, and studies have generally failed to support the common notion that ordinary consumption contributes significantly to dehydration.
Amen to that!Wikipedia said:With heavy use, strong tolerance develops rapidly and caffeine can produce clinically significant physical and mental dependence.
